And welcome back. Today I’m sharing some of my favorite looks for the fall season and how to replicate them, cheaper. Sometimes when I’m browsing through fall fashion pages I come along a great piece that I love, click to find the look, and more often than not it’s over 100.00. And tbh, this queen can’t be paying sixty for a tee…no matter how good it looks. I’ve attached some photos of styles I love this season. You can find links below to find the look for cheaper. Happy bargain shopping. (:
P.S. Along the way I’ll be including some pieces that might be a little pricier but I will star these as they’re a piece I think is important to invest in. Investing in a good pair of jeans or quality boots is totally worth it but not everything needs to be an investment.
Long Plaid Jacket
Plaid is totally in this season especially with the dark top and light denim, as pictured. It’s a nice casual chic look that makes every day casual Friday. I just ordered this Plaid Jacket from Nordstrom Rack and LOVE it! Also, the material is gorgeous and has some red in it so could be paired with a burgundy top. For a good denim I recommend Levi’s or Madewell jean. And, you don’t have to spend a fortune when buying Levi’s either. Amazon has an array of Levi jeans that vary in price and with prime, usually free shipping and returns. Check out these Levi Jeans.
I love these Booties from DSW. When looking for a great pair of shoes on a budget, check out DSW. They always have good sales and their trends are on point for the seasons style. Invest in a nice pair of black boots. These are under 100 and can be styled with ANYthing this season.
Old Navy Dreams
I LOVE Old Navy. Their prices are always on point and the styles keep getting better and better. Camel colored everything is in this year so definitely stock up on those camel coats. Find this Camel Coat from Old Navy that also comes in gray.
Find a similar turtle neck sweater here.
For a nice crossbody, I would recommend looking through Nordstrom Rack as they always have sales on name brand bags. Find this Fossil crossbody that I love here.
Amazon fashion coming in again for the win. I love this look and am all about the turtlenecks this season. I found this, basic black turtle neck for less then 20.00 and have been loving it. I ordered a size up to make it a little baggier just as a preference.
Find a lighter weight jersey version here.
Also, snag this same belt for less than 10.00 here.
For jeans I’d go with a high waisted skinny. Again, here’s an affordable Levi on amazon.
Keeping on with the amazon purchases (are you seeing a trend here?) I found an AMAZING scarf that has the feel of cashmere and the depth of color as Acme but no where near the price. Find this scarf here with an array of colors to choose from. Seriously ya’ll, I’m obsessed.
For the basic white button down my go to is Uniqlo. They have the best, low maintenance basic white blouses hands down. Find more here.
Loafers are totally in, and have been for quite some time and honestly, thank god. I love any and all flat slides so finding a good pair of these is perfection for any outfit. I’ve attached a few of my favorites. They vary in style and price.
I’ll say it once and I’ll say it again, I’m obsessed with this sweater. It’s perfect for the move from summer to winter. It’s the perfect fall sweater and comes in multiple colors. If you can, buy them all! (: Find this sweater here.
Additionally, for a nice black slack I go to H&M. They have a great business line. Find their stove pipe pants here - btw love these!
Pair this sweater and black slack with your new loafers. Grab a coffee and you’ve replicated this look for less then 100.
For fall accessories I really love to shop around.
For hair and neck scarves I go to Madewell. Also, if you still have your student ID (or are still a student) Madewell/JCrew offers a 10% discount so make sure to show those ID’s!
Take a peak at their accessories here.
Etsy is a great place to search for any and all accessories because you can find exactly what you’re looking for without breaking the bank.
Skirts are the hot item this season and why not? They’re easy to wear dressed down or up, tights or bare legged, with sweaters or tees. They’re the perfect addition to any closet.
For this exact look I’d bit the bullet and go with this skirt from Lulus. This is the best price for this look.
If you’re willing to change it up H&M has a great black pleather skirt that is perfect for any look. Find it here.
Pair this with any chunky sweater and booties and you’re set to go!
Again, with the Checkered
Okay, but this one is a blazer. Big difference. I’ve attached one that I currently own and love. Find it here.
I would also pair this with a simple black crew neck or any of the sweaters listed above.
